A 26-year-old Zimbabwean man was hit with a brick and stabbed to death by his friends in Hillbrow, police said on Thursday.
Three Zimbabweans were washing taxis on the corner of Claim and Goldreich streets, when a fight broke out about who should wash a particular taxi, said Captain Bhekizizwe Mavundla.
Two brothers ganged up against their friend, stabbing him twice with a knife and hitting him with a brick. He died on the scene.
Police arrested one of the brothers, a 16-year-old, but the other fled.
