Wed, 10 Dec 2008 21:09:00 +0000

Zambian Foreign Affairs minister, Kabinga Pande

ZAMBIA has dismissed reports that it was training units to destablize Zimbabwe and added its voice to the sentiments expressed by the African Union calling for a peaceful resolution to the Zimbabwean crisis.

Lusaka dismissed reports by a Zimbabwe news website that the country training jointly with the army of Botswana in readiness for military invasion.

Foreign Affairs minister, Kabinga Pande, at a press conference on Wednesday described the article which appeared on the website – www.zimbabwetoday.co.uk last Sunday as “malicious, baseless and false”.

The website alleged: “Zambia (had stationed) its crack 2nd battalion troops at the Tug Argan barracks in the Copperbelt city of Ndola,” and that “Zambia's Commandos are at the nearby Mushili depot.”

“Recently both units have been training, in joint operations with the army of Botswana, another of our neighbouring states. The prospect - nothing less than the armed invasion of Zimbabwe,” added the website.

Pande said Zambia is committed to working within the framework of Sadc, AU decisions in resolving the situation in Zimbabwe.

Military action in Southern Africa should be directed, not at Zimbabweans, but at the racist and criminal invaders who still continue to hold on to STOLEN indigenous African Lands, Wealth and African Resources!

So all those destructive devils who constantly yell for military action, should BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR!
Military action against Zimbabwe would be a fitting escuse to once and for all rid Southern Africa of racist and criminal invaders!

Africa for Africans!

Do these guys think Zimbabweans will loose sleep over such nonsence. No amount of intimidation will push us to back your stupid intensions. Which of the countries have been forced to change their GOVTS enjoy peace today?

We will loose sleep if a country like Angola , Namibia, or to an extent Moza were to play war games.Botswana is a mismatch. The other thing is invade for what?

I have said it before, and I will repeat myself again, the EU and the West is trying to undermine the authority of the African Union, it is trying to destabilize not only Zimbabwe, but the entire African continent and it is using it's agents to do so i.e, www.zimbabwetoday.co.uk.
