Manipulating the truth does not help. Political immaturity is even more fatal. When the chickens eventually come home to roost, you will learn the hard way. Your yesteryear enemies who are now your best friends have their own agenda which does not include yours sadly.
N/A • N/A Subject: Taneta chete Sun, 18 Jan 2009 14:30:35 • Painful truth and you trash it as tribalism, and then call me a Rhodie, hah, I laugh at that. I used those examples to show that we cannot say death to all our adversaries of yesteryear. Race, tribe has hardly anything to do with it.
If the Israelis want to hunt former Nazis that is their choice. So by implication you are saying I am justified if I go on a hunt for those who killed my relatives during both Gukurahundi and the liberation war (both the comrades and Rhodesian soldiers)?
You can swear all your want but when people like you spread malicious hatred it must be exposed!
So you want to override the decisions of the electorate we voted for the so called unrepentant Rhodies? Whom do you think you are, a god? Your thinking actually exposes your political affiliation, no respect for the people and their choices.
Yes, rest your evil and myopic case.
Prayer Man • n/a Subject: Pray For SADC leaders Sun, 18 Jan 2009 14:28:42 • SADC is a guarantor to this Global Political Agreement. They were mandated by AU to negotiate these discussions. My understanding is that AU wanted a 50-50 agreement as evidenced by Tanzania's statement if you follow this link http://www.mg.co.za/article/2008-09-02-aus-patience-with-zim-wears-thin
So my question to SADC is. What do you understand about the deal in Zimbabwe. Is it a 50-50 deal? SADC should tell the people of Zimbabwe whether its 50-50 or not. This is because Zanu claims to have satisfied SADC requirements on forming the inclusive government and that they are saying no more concessions. They are accusing MDC of disrespecting SADC by refusing to accept what is on the table so far. But the ministerial allocations are not agreed upon by all parties as evidenced by Tsvangirai's statement. If it was maybe 50-50, maybe they would do Pick and I pick and so on. So first things first, SADC must define what nature of a deal they want to see in Zimbabwe. If it 50-50 then all posts will be shared equally and power distributed equally. This is my understanding of Power Sharing.
I urge all Saints to stand in prayer with these SADC leaders so that they execute their mandate with wisdom from God. If God is for us, who can be against us.
I thank you

Sympathy from you is akin to asking for sympathy from the devil. Your sympathy, don't need it, never asked for it and you can shove it where it hu-- most! Any Zim citizen should be able to participate fully in the politics of the nation but it is rather tempting fate to make Dracula in charge of the blood bank.Anyone can vote for anybody and colour is immaterial. You judge a man by the strength of his character and not the colour of his skin. Do not introduce tribalism and racism into the debate. If according to you provision of a helicopter to winch desperate natives shows strength of character, you are perfectly entitled to your view. I am also entitled to my view that if you were prepared to annihilate me yesterday, you still have the prospensity to do so again if given the chance. A leopard never changes its spots. I am sure the majority of white Zimbabweans are decent human beings who want to get on with their lives just like all the other races that make up Zimbabwe. Its those unrepentant Rhodies that many of us have problems with. I rest my case. Are you one of the Rhodies? Why are you are getting hot under the collar for if you are not a Rhodie? The truth does hurt sometime.

If we were to follow your silly reasoning on history Shonas and Ndebeles would be sworn enemies for ever because Gukarahundi is more recent than the liberation war. No one says that history is not important, silly. We all know these painful historical facts and some us have lived through both the liberation war and Gukurahundi but we want to move on with our lives and for Zimbabwe to move on as well but people like you keep on dragging us back!
Fact is your opinion about white Zimbabweans is in the minority because the majority of Zimbabweans have moved on in spite of the painful history, they choose to vote in progressive whites ahead of hate mongering destructive elements like you. You are just a sick individual fixated in history with no idea of how to move on.
History, history, you could not even stomach the other history I shoved back at you. Your history is very selective, it is not Zimbabwean history, its yours alone.
Jairos Tapfuma • cdetapfuma@yahoo.com Subject: Forcing matters Sun, 18 Jan 2009 07:00:58 • SADC should understand and appreciate Morgan Tsvangirai first before they talk to him. The truth is that Morgan is a gate-boy. He is not the main man in MDC.
The main people are Gordon Brown, Jandayi Frazer and company...maybe until January 20 when the bush-minded Bush walks out of office.
As for Tsvangirai, he can not make any decision. I do not think he even knows what the negotiations are all about. The guy called and campaigned for sanctions against his own country and people hoping that he would be targeting Zanu-PF people.
What he forgot was that everyone in Zimbabwe has Zanu-PF blood in them because of the country's history of the liberation war fought to end the white minority rule-except exceptionals like himself, those who ran away from the battle front.
Now everybody is suffering with Zimbabwe having been virtually shut out from the rest of the world-all because of this self inflicted request by Morgan. Now he does not know where to start in dealing away with the sanctions with the truth being that he has no power at all. He is a puppet. He is dangerous not only to Zimbabwe but to the whole SADC region if not the whole of Africa.
He wants to reverse the gains of independence-that achievements that have seen ordinary Zimbabweans being able to won the most basic resource on earth-a piece of the earth itself-of course courtesy of one of Africa's fearless and greatest sons, Robert Gabriel Mugabe. The only leader in Africa's modern day life to call the West by their real name and telling them to go to hell if they do not want to treat blacks as equal human beings.
Now those with no spine like Tsvangirai think that is taboo, NO! It's not taboo to call a spade by its name. Some of these whites from the West do not believe that they are people in Africa. They only see Masai Mara and Gonarezhou in Africa and they think this is a moneky and baboon continent with labourers only and not scientists, labourers only and not engineers, labourers only and not doctors, labourers onoly and not DECISION MAKERS.
But Mugabe says NO to that--and the masses of Zimbabwe sing with him-hero, hero, because at least here is one who can say no to white imperialism on their behalf. You can never mix oil with water-neither will you apply black polish to a white shoe and change its colour. We are blacks and God created us for a purpose, and we will remain pitch-black Africans and will forever be proud of that. Ndoo zvatiri.
Tsvangirai kudya mundiro imwe naBrown hanzi ndaa mubhunuwo. No man You will remain pitch black and you should preach your blackness to the world so that your rights are recognised as an African. Read from the same books as Mugabe, Nkrumah, Mbeki, Smaora Machel, George Shire, Joshua Nkomo, Mbuya Nehanda, Chaminuka and learn what Pan-Africanism means.

All you do is criticize but offer no solutions. The former Rhodesian soldiers who are members of MDC are Zimbabweans. Since independence Zimbabwe National army has had many loyal former Rhodesian soldiers who have served the country well maybe even better than pessimists like you. A good example is retired Colonel Dyke and his sterling work in Mozambique against the former MNR and in professionally training elite officers of ZNA. Have you also forgotten how units made up of formerly Rhodesian soldiers only, did a good job separating ZIPRA and ZANLA combatants who were at each other's throat in the early 1980s in Bulawayo? If it was not for these soldiers there would have been a blood bath. Even Philip Chiyangwa, once Provincial Chairman for Zanu PF Mash West was a Rhodesian soldier/policeman, so what are you waffling about, heh? Cut the bullshit and leave those with at least a suggestion of the future have space.
All Zimbabwean citizens have the right to fully participate in all activities in Zimbabwe without pseudo racist historians like you belittling this right or their current contributions. Go and say your nonsense about Bennet in Chimanimani and see what the villages there will say (that is if they do not get physical with you). He is loved for his numerous positive contributions in Chimanimani in post independent Zim (an example is during the flooding that happened there when he used use private helicopter to rescue stranded villagers only for national army helicopters to arrive a day later when the job had already been done, these people would have died) . They call him Pachedu, meaning we are one, that is why as a white, black villagers who suffered during the liberation war still voted for him as their MP. They were more interested in what he was doing now and what he could do in future instead of what he did during the liberation war. So fortunately, your destructive opinions are not shared by the people who matter, the electorate. This is the same reason why we still have whites like Ian Kay being voted for in rural constituencies, what they are doing and what they will do is more important and apparently the electorate like it!
You are a lone voice, let people judge whether this means you are a genius or something else on the other extreme.
n/a • n/a Subject: MDC-T Fri, 16 Jan 2009 21:30:00 • There are many grave dangers for Zimbabwe associated with MDC-T politics. The MDC-T project has been high-jacked by too many interests groups including unrepentant racist Rhodesians with old scores to settle.
The standoff between Zimbabwe and the West is to do with land and exploitation of Zim resources by Global corporatists and certainly nothing to do with human rights issues, good governance and rule of law. Which country in the world would cede its security to a political party such as MDC-T that has the likes of Eddie Cross (MDC-T), Roy Bennett (MDC-T) and Ian Kay (MDC-T) as members? These guys fought for Ian Smith and unleashed untold atrocities on black Zimbabweans.
Tsvangirai has no intention either of joining the GNU. Tsvangirai was only stalling for time to let the Obama administration get in. Obama, Hilary Clinton, John Biden and Susan Rice have all supported the Zidera Act, 2001 which was sponsored by the racist Jesse Helms. The US sanctions that have emanated from this Act have impoverished and killed millions of Zimbabweans. It is evident that Obama's policy on Zim will be more of the same or even worse. Human Rights will be at the top of the Obama administration and countries like Sudan and Zimbabwe will be targeted not because of human rights abuses per se but for Geo-Political purposes, exploitation of these countries resources such land, minerals and oil as is the case for Sudan. The West is also interested in halting China's influence in Africa. Zimbabwe is being used as a pawn in this proxy war just as the DRC is. As for Obama, the policies he will pursue are all there for everyone to see. One just has to look at his senior policy advisers and those he has appointed to senior positions in his team to understand the direction he will take. One of Obama’s senior policy advisers is Zbigniew Brzezinski (a former US Secretary of State in the Carter Administration.). Zbigniew Brzezinski had a lot to do with the demise of the former Soviet Union and the rise of the Taliban in Afghanistan. The US, under Brzezinski, funded, supported and trained the Taliban against the Soviet Union. Soros is funding the think tank that is generating Obama’s policies. Has Obama been selected to become the acceptable face of imperialism because he is black and considered left wing? Is Obama’s colour going to be exploited to hide the West’s intended neo-colonial machinations in Africa, especially in Zimbabwe? We had McGee, Jendayi Fraser and Condoleezza Rice all black people sent to do their master’s bidding. We have had Tutu, Sentamu, Annan and Machel (all black people) roped in to this project. Are we going to have the first US black president unleashed on Africa to do his master’s bidding? Check out this video on You Tube (The men behind Obama)
Zimbabweans need to sit back and truly reflect because if they are not careful, they will be faced with unintended outcomes such as a return of colonialism that will be more barbaric than the first one that lasted for almost 100years. Land is an asset that does not depreciate and is the source of all riches. Those with money (both foreign individuals and governments) are on the prowl to own swathes of land globally (to ensure food security for their own citizens) and if that land called Zimbabwe is taken once again, then all that Zimbabweans can do is to go back to be hewers of wood and drawers of water. What a price to pay and what a legacy for future generations!

Their passionate hatred for MDC and blind love for Zanu PF makes these two very irrational. The hopeless West have bankrolled the MDC to the extent that any participation by this party in govt in Zimbabwe must be such that the MDC is in total control of all instruments of govt in order to facilitate the looting and pillaging of our resources. Hence Tsvangson's participation as a PM in a govt led and directed by Bob is a ''nullity'' on the the part of the West as this will render him ineffectual to their designs for the country. (A statement from Jendayi Frazier of the big ar e the size of South America give credence to this). Pity the West for their puppet has long since lost the confidence, respect and support of SADC after he exposed himself to be a Jonas Savimbi masquerading as a democrat. In this case it, SADC, gave him a long long rope and he hung himself in that he openly exposed himself as a puppet as he galivanted and dallied with the likes of the housenigger McGee and the butcher of Afghanistan Christopher Dell at a summit of the SADC leadership held in SA at the MDC's request. During the course of that summit, the stupid Tsvangirai would hold-up proceedings under the guise that he wanted to ''consult'' and this was with the two Americans who wanted the SADC leadership to ''feel'' them yet unknowingly causing their stooge to lose all credibility with the regional leadership. Pity him. Now he does not hold any cards at all since he has played his last card and is now banking on the philanthropic political maturity of the regional leadership who are hoping, mistakenly that if Tsvangson is included in govt then the West will remove sanctions! They (West)wont! The reason being that they (SADC leadership)are expecting murderers and bloody-thirsty evil warmongering nations who have no regard for other races to forego and relinquish a deeply cultivated and held interest in resources they have been forced to covet and salivate for by the failure of the global capitalist system which has left their countries in a bad state of economic malaise! It is better to simply kick the GPA into the long tall grass and give Zimbabwe the SADC support that the region can muster and forget this idiot who is being bankrolled by the West as he wont change anything either economically or politically. All SADC needs to do is to work with the people of Zimbabwe and those other parties in Zimbabwe (such as MDC-M) who are patriotic and pan-African and then help sell the country to willing foreign investors who are interested in the economic policies designed to empower Zimbabweans as thrashed out by ZANU(PF) in order to see how successful this project is going to be before they can emulate doing the same for their own countries!

While we understand the position of the MDC-T in insisting on the resolution of outstanding issues before they join in. We also fear for the implications of the delay in the implementation of the GNU.
Our main fear is that this has a potential to prevent the formation of the GNU or any political solution in the near future. Of particular concern to us is the possibility of any one party going it alone in governing our country. This is not an option because it will be a step backwards in the sense that both Zanu PF and MDC-T are capable of inflicting violence against the losing party or through any retaliatory means.
This should not be allowed to happen to anyone Zimbabwe if everyone wants peace in the country.
I invite you all today to pray for a Government of National Unity to happen without further delays.

Comments like those from OMUGABE are not helpful at all. We should not allow some few extremists to wreck the whole process which is aimed at solving Zimbabwe's problems. Zanu PF have not been sincere in sharing power. The mere fact that they took whathever Ministries which they deemed important and left the rest to the other parties, is in itself proof that it was no power sharing. The issue with the Ministry of Finance was merely a trick which was being by those who still have the time to laugh and make a play on the lives of our people. Zanu PF never really wanted the Ministry of Finance. Common sense would have told them that this was a Ministry to run away from and not to embrace. They used it as a bargaining tool in ensuring that they would never cede the Home Affairs Ministry. How can it be power sharing when Zanu PF is holding all the Security Ministries? The so called security ministries have been the architect of untold suffering of our people. I am aware of the difficulties that are going to be faced by the foreign leaders and the principals in trying to hammer a deal for our country. I pray that this time, God will intervene and Zimbabwe will retain its dignity again. Its time for our Country which we all love dearly to get up and show the world what a better Country Zimbabwe can be.

There is NO WAY that Zim Patriots are going to surrender African Lands, Wealth & Resources to the wicked West; so the MDC is only wasting time.
