Moyo misses qualifiers for Zimbabwe

Staff reporter

SIPATHISIWE Moyo, the Zimbabwe allrounder, has pulled out of next week's Women's World Cup qualifier in South Africa with appendicitis.

Moyo, 22, learnt of her condition in December and is to undergo surgery in South Africa.

The qualifying series was originally due to be held in Pakistan in November last year but was moved to South Africa, following the political upheaval which ensued after the assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
