Freedom of the press or blasphemous journalism?

Sun, 13 Jan 2008 01:03:00 +0000

GREAT Scott! Good Heavens Sherlock Holmes this is the work of Israel Mauduit. No Dr. Watson it’s the work of Moriarty, but why?

Zimdaily’s article “Mugabe consults Clairvoyant over his waning Political fortunes” 17 Oct. 2007 by Jona Bute is a classic example of journalistic character contamination and an ignominy to the profession of journalism. A great teacher once stated “If you want to show up a dirty glass of water put a clean glass next to it.”

Robert Mugabe earned 5 Bachelor of Arts degrees and 2 Masters Degrees; 9 Honorary Doctor of Law degrees, 7 Chairmanships and 2 Presidencies! (http://www.whoswhosa.co.za/Pages/profilefull.aspx?IndID=3562 )

“Pop’s gotta whole lotta juice” as we say in Harlem, New York were I was born and raised.

Which crafts are being used: media slander or journalism? Both are determined by its terminology, phrases, and word usage. When the individual is heartlessly defamed and not the issues or policies they represent; it’s a clear in your mind indication of incompetence.

Leaders and writers who lack a vocabulary, evidence, facts, or constructive criticisms resort to provocative and confrontational cursing. They are found in media hype briefings, radio and sound bite news clippings.  They never debate intellectually, avoid serious questioning, nor present a legally binding thesis, or document their point of view.

What kind of journalism speaks uncaringly against a head of state’s deceased parents with “said a close source” as a point of reference? Why would Jona Bute write bad things about Mugabe’s departed Mother, Father, and the very graves they rest in? Is Jona Bute a concealing outfit?

Zimdaily and zim NET radio staff including Zimdaily Editor should publicly apologize.

The War Veteran’s sophistication in marshallship dispelled divisive propaganda by organizing the Million Man and Woman March 2007. The Zimbabwean people confirmed their love and compassion for Mwanamutapa Robert Mugabe and their government.

By invoking the spirits of the ancestors in describing Mugabe’s present political and economic situation revealed the comparable qualities, trials, tribulations, and sacrifices of all the great leaders of sacred and secular history. In describing his family’s history you in fact authorized that he is someone of a preordained future.

Ancestral spirits do work in mysterious ways.  The identical ancestral spirit that every captured African who survived the Middle Passage, the death plantations, the Peculiar Institutions, and those of involuntary Diaspora, kept within the lockets of their souls the acquaintance they would survive and today are on the rise.
The ancestral spirits freed the Republic of Haiti, who built the 8th Wonder of the World “La Citadel” and are presently suppressed by seven (7) nations. African Americans invoked the same ancestral spirit to free themselves as expressed in the gospel songs “I Got the Holy Ghost Fire In My Soul” and “This Little Light of Mine I’m Gonna Let It Shine.”

The famous Negro (African) American scientist George Washington Carver was publicly well known and mocked for “clairvoyantly” speaking to plants. Scientist George Washington Carver, born a Slave, invoked the spirit of plants and communicated their structure, magnetism, and by-products. Discovered “300 applications for peanuts and 118 for sweet potatoes…73 of the 118 were dyes. He made similar investigations into uses for cowpeas, soybeans and pecans…105 existing food recipes that used peanuts.”

“His most famous method of promoting the peanut involved his creation of about 100 existing industrial products from peanuts, including cosmetics, dyes, paints, plastics, gasoline and nitroglycerin…In 1916 Carver was made a member of the Royal Society of Arts in England…In 1939, Carver received the (U.S. President) Roosevelt Medal for Outstanding Contribution to Southern Agriculture enscribed "to a scientist humbly seeking the guidance of God and a liberator to men of the white race as well as the black."

“Earth Voices are Heard” author Renee says George Washington Carver was “famous for his ability to bring these plants back to health. When asked how he worked such "miracles", Carver replied: "All flowers talk to me and so do hundreds of little living things in the woods. I learn what I know by watching and loving everything."…The secrets are in the plants. To elicit them you have to love them enough." "But why do so few people have your power" One of the visitors persisted. "Who besides you can do these things?"

'Everyone can, if only they believe it. The secrets are all here, in God's promises. These promises are real, as real as, and more infinitely solid and substantial than, this table which the materialist so thoroughly believes in.'

Again, your blasphemous article “Mugabe consults Clairvoyant over his waning Political fortunes” caused the ancestral spirits to direct me to W. Adam Mandelbaum’s “The Psychic Battlefield - A History of the Military-Occult Complex.” He documents in Appendix 2 – ‘Supernatural Counterinsurgency in the Congo about witchcraft, sorcery, magic, and other psychological phenomena, and their implications on military and paramilitary operations in the Congo.’

And “In 1964, the United States Government issued a report on the use of the supernatural as a psychological warfare tool in the Congo, prepared by the Army”.

With the direction of Dr. Condoleezza Rice, The United States Department of State - International Religious Freedom Report 2006 released by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor concerning Zimbabwe declared:

“Traditional healers were very common in both rural and urban areas. They are licensed and regulated by the Zimbabwe National African Traditional Healers' Association (ZINATHA), which has approximately 55,000 members. ZINATHA officials estimated that 80 percent of the population consulted traditional healers during the year. Religious leaders also reported an increase in adherence to traditional religion and healers as the economic situation worsened in the country.'

‘The Government also appeared to be more inclusive of indigenous religions, of which it has traditionally been suspicious, and tolerant of supposed witchcraft practices, which it had previously attempted to restrict. Unlike in previous years, President Mugabe made no negative statements about evangelical or indigenous churches, and he also met with leaders from these groups.’

‘In April 2006 President Mugabe signed an amendment to the previously criticized Witchcraft Suppression Act (WSA). The amendment, which was to take effect on July 1, 2006, identifies witchcraft practices as "those commonly associated with witchcraft" and criminalizes those practices only if intended to cause harm. Under this new framework, spoken words alone would no longer be considered a witchcraft practice or evidence of illegal activity. The amendment would also criminalize witch hunts, impose criminal penalties for falsely accusing others of witchcraft, and reject killing of a witch as a defense for murder.’

‘Proponents of the WSA amendment applauded it for recognizing certain elements of witchcraft as a part of traditional culture and regarded it as a positive step in recognizing indigenous religions. ZINATHA, for example, welcomed the amendment for differentiating negative witchcraft from traditional beliefs and enabling traditional healers to operate more openly, without fear of either witch hunters or prosecution.'

In “Biblical Revelation and African Beliefs” (1969 All African Conference of Churches) Vincent Mulago authored Chapter 7’s ‘Vital Participation - The Cohesive Principle of the Bantu Community’ the following:

“By unity of life or vital union, we mean:

a) A relationship of being and life between each individual and his descendants, his family, his brothers and sisters in the clan, his antecedents, and also with God, the ultimate source of all life.

b) An analogical ontic relationship of each individual with his inheritance, the common property of his family or group, together with all it contains or produces, all that lives and grows in it.’

‘Thus the Bantu Community is a vital circuit in which members live in dependence on one another, and for one another’s good. To leave this circuit, to withdraw from the vital influence of the vitally superior members, would be to be tired of life!'

• Some interesting ideas from a Black American. You have the right to comment on Africa - your home. I enjoy your column especially the alternative opinion. We always hear from Zimbabweans or Africans, but your contribution is vital. On another note, just wanted you to know that those zim daily morons should just be left alone. They have brains the size of a peanut. Don't dwell too much on this useless bunch.

Subject: Liberated Zimbabweans MUST provide own amenities
Mon, 14 Jan 2008 23:48:08
• Does the likes of Murombo recognize that if they want to enjoy the amenities of 'modern living' that they will need to get up off their behinds and create them for themselves in their land, which was returned to them by the Zim Patriots, who drove off the invading white enslavers?

The wicked white invaders BROUGHT NOTHING to Africa! Those pale invading robbers, rapists, murderers, enslavers and colonizers from Europe brought nothing to Africa!

It was African Lands, African Wealth, African Resources, African Lives, African Limbs, African Liberties, African Blood, African Sweat & African Tears that were used to build up ALL the modern amenities of Zimbabwe/Rhodesia. And they were built for the white invaders and a RELATIVELY FEW Africans.

The inconveniences some Zim ingrates are now complaining about are the SAME inconveniences and more that so many Africans endured under the racist regime of the white invaders, who oppressed Africans in their own indigenous space.

Zimbabweans shouldn't embarrass themselves to the world, by implying that we can only or will only create the modern amenities we desire if we are enslaved by whites to do so for them first; and we inherit their crumbs of conveniences later.

Zimbabwe needs to be rebuilt by Africans FOR Africans!
Instead of complaining, Zimbabweans need to demonstrate some SELF-SUFFICIENCY, Self-determination, Self-reliance; and create their own Afrocentric societies as they wish.

The eurocentric evils in Africa, which benefit ONLY wicked white invaders, MUST GO from African indigenous space! That is the only way that African are going to AGAIN HAVE enduring happiness in their own space.

Roll up your sleeves as a FREE AFRICAN, Murombo, andget your family and friends to do the same. In this way you can build the African society with the amenities you crave.
Zimbabweans are no more enslaved in their own land, and need to wait for the invading white man to dish out crumbs of African loot

Subject: Gutter rubbish
Mon, 14 Jan 2008 11:54:41
• This has been the most distasteful gutter rubbish I ever read from a so-called Journalist. I suspect the said journalist resides in the US and is busy enjoying freedom of speech (four newspapers were banned, no independent radio or TV stations, its criminalised), freedom from the darkness. (In the capital city the surburban where I reside I have not known electricity for the past 4 months - but at least some surburbs have occasional eclipses of electricity), freedom to wash and drink clean water (Harare will not be having water for the whole of this week, infact since last friday), freedom of visiting the toilet (it is very costly to run a town without water, imagine what you would do if you felt like piiiiing or stoooling? and... finaly freedom for everyone, even mwanawevhu Obama is making waves therein, herein, it is only ZANUPF which holds every family at ransom. Can you imagine Christmas without bread, sugar, candles, electricity, water, not to mention christmas carrols, christmas trees etc, STOP imagining, just come to Zimbabwe.
