US solution to financial crisis: print money

Wed, 07 Jan 2009 00:09:00 +0000

VOLTAIRE commenting on 18th century media spinmiesters said: “Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.”  Abolitionist Reverend Matlack wrote: “What absurdities will not men defend! If the Gospel will tolerate slavery [apartheid and colonialism], what will it not authorize?

In order to divert public attention and press coverage from the on going collapse of state pension funds, retirement savings, investments, and housing markets in America and Europe: Zimbabwe becomes the scapegoat.  False prophets and charlatans are given daily press coverage to assist in stimulating the American and European war economies.

With the involvement of war-mongering bishops, saboteurs, and government officials one can only conclude the Western World Wars are escalating in an attempt to divert attention from the out-and-out theft of multi-trillions of dollars in US and EU public funds.

What is America hiding from Africa? Why is America now in financial debt and not under sanctions?

As of December 12, 2008 America’s Trillion Dollar Debt is beyond astronomical. Compare the following debt report with the Western press coverage of Africa’s financial affairs. Who is really fiscally irresponsible and incompetent?

Current Debt Held by the Public (US trillions)        $6,410,822,416,494.81
Intragovernmental Holdings (US trillions)               $4,237,618,460,756.82
Total Public Debt Outstanding (US trillions)  $10,648,440,877,251.63

The western press loves to mock Zimbabwean citizens with large stacks of money to buy a loaf of bread. How much paper currency does the U.S. Treasury Department print every day?

During fiscal year 2007, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) produced approximately 38 million notes a day with a face value of approximately $750 million.

“$7.7 Trillion Increases Probability of Inflation: Skills Required for Enterprise Risk Management.” In a move suggesting the U.S. Government is role modeling Zimbabwe, Bloomberg reports Fed Chairman Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Paulson are prepared to provide more than $7.76 trillion US Dollars—amounting to half the value of everything produced in the nation last year—to try to rescue the US financial system.

This includes the recent guaranteeing of $306 billion of Citigroup debt last week and $3.18 trillion already tapped by financial institutions.  The commitment eclipses the earlier $700 billion “Troubled Asset Relief Program”.  This inflation of the money supply - printing dollars out of thin air, and in large volumes - will likely devalue the currency…”

“The Bush administration has spent more than $500 billion in Iraq and Afghanistan without stabilizing either country. This type of fiscal behavior borders on incompetence. President George Bush is not accused of waste spending that could have fed the poor.”

Chalmers Johnson warns us in 'Mercenaries at work': "Most Americans have a rough idea what the term "military-industrial complex" means when they come across it in a newspaper or hear a politician mention it."

President Dwight D Eisenhower introduced the idea to the public in his farewell address of January 17, 1961. "Our military organization today bears little relation to that known by any of my predecessors in peacetime," he said, "or indeed by the fighting men of World War II and Korea ... We have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions ... We must not fail to comprehend its grave implications... We must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex."

C-SPAN reported that the U.S. Congressional Budget Office Director Peter Orszag recently testified that some $2 trillion in retirement savings were lost in the past year.

Are government officials and archbishops promoting hate or violence?

President Mugabe and President Elect Barack Obama appear to be sharing similar fortunes in bishops and statesmen.

US President Elect Barack Obama slandering Cardinal James Francis Stafford, head of the Apostolic Penitentiary of the Holy See, delivered a lecture on Thursday last week saying that the future under President-elect Obama will echo Jesus’ agony in Gethsemane. Criticizing Obama as “aggressive, disruptive and apocalyptic,” he went on to speak about a decline in respect for human life and the need for Catholics to return to the values of marriage and human dignity. Washington DC, Nov 17, 2008 (CNA).

The term apocalyptic means predicting disaster, involving destruction, relating to Apocalypse. Aggressive means belligerent, hostile, violent, and hard line. A disruptive person is unruly, disorderly, and troublemaking.  There is no public denouncements from bishops Tutu or Sentamu, nor diplomat Kofi Annan concerning the Cardinal’s slanderous remarks.

“Catholic priest gets life, 12/03/2008—'Sentence priest to life' 'Genocide' priest gets 15 years. Arusha—A UN war crimes court increased a Roman Catholic priest's sentence to life imprisonment on Wednesday after upholding his conviction for his part in the genocide of 800 000 fellow Rwandans.

Mayor sorry for kids “Assassinate Obama” chants.—Associated Press, 11/18/08, Boise, Idaho—The mayor of an eastern Idaho town where second- and third-grade students on a school bus chanted "Assassinate Obama" after the Nov. 4 election has publicly apologized, saying there's no excuse for such behavior.

A Republican congressman from Georgia said Monday he fears that President-elect Obama will establish a Gestapo-like security force to impose a Marxist dictatorship. “It may sound a bit crazy and off base, but the thing is, he's the one who proposed this national security force,” [US Congressman] Rep. Paul Broun said of Obama in an interview Monday with The Associated Press. “I'm just trying to bring attention to the fact that we may - may not, I hope not - but we may have a problem with that type of philosophy of radical socialism or Marxism.” Washington (AP).

“Africa conquers the White House”. Breitbart.com Nov 10 2008 - The Berlin chapter of the American Jewish Committee (AFC) condemned statements made by Juergen Gansel, a deputy in the Saxony state legislature. In a statement from his office entitled "Africa conquers the White House," Gansel said multicultural America sought the destruction of "pure" national cultures and that Obama aimed to destroy the United States' "white identity." "A non-white America is a declaration of war on all people who believe an organically grown social order based on language and culture, history and heritage to be the essence of humanity," he said.

Poland on Monday issued an apology to President-elect Barack Obama, after a controversial right-wing politician called the Illinois Democrat "a black crypto-communist" whose election marks "the end of the white man's civilization" and must "delight" al Qaeda terrorists (Washington Times).

Remember Zimbabwe’s former leading archbishop, Pius Ncube wanting Britain to invade while he sits back in church and watch young soldiers kill each other? The Western media sponsorship of promoting political absurdities is designed to wreak havoc in a targeted nation. This can be the prime reason for obsessive anxious news reporting of unreasonable and suspicious opinions about Zimbabwe.

South African Nobel peace laureate and holy Archbishop Desmond Tutu urged the use of force to drive Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe from power if he will not quit voluntarily. "He must be asked to step down, and if he refuses I really believe that we have to invoke this new doctrine of responsibility to protect," Tutu told BBC radio.

The “new doctrine of responsibility to protect” Bishop Tutu now pontificates emanates from the 911 paranoiac based “Report of the International Commission on Intervention and State Sovereignty” in which the ‘The Responsibility to Protect’ Western interest is supreme. This report advised the Bush Administration which is ending in disgrace.

The report details: planning for, carrying out, and, following up on military intervention. Concerning the ‘Question of Authority’ the Commission argued that it extends to a responsibility to react by appropriate means if catastrophe is occurring, or seems imminent…the responsibility to react includes military intervention within a state, to carry out that human protection.’

Nobel Peace breaker Tutu in his frustration appears to overlook the Question of Authority’s Section 6.9 in his obsession with waging war:  ‘Those who challenge or evade the authority of the UN as the sole legitimate guardian of international peace and security in specific instances run the risk of eroding its authority in general and also undermining the principle of a world order based on international law and universal norms.’ Section 6:11: The responsibility for protecting the lives and promoting the welfare of citizens lies first and foremost with the sovereign state, secondly with domestic authorities acting in partnership with external actors, and only thirdly with international organizations.

Asked whether that meant going in by force, Tutu said: "Yes, yes -- or certainly the threat of it... He needs to be warned and his cronies must be warned that the world is not just going to sit by and do nothing."

Dear Archbishops Tutu and Sentamu, and Kofi Annan, are you or your immediate staff going to arm yourselves now that you profess violence and the overthrow of the Zimbabwe Government? Or, do you expect Zimbabwe citizens and or others to risk their lives for a cause you are not willing to sacrifice your lives for?  Is it now permissible to hire mercenaries to do your dirty work?

Holy Archbishop and Nobel Peace Laureate Desmond Tutu this writer believes the Nobel Prize you inherited appears to be a wrench of Alfred Nobel’s curse: the weaponization of explosives after 4,000 years of peaceful use in China.

Still worried about Zimbabwe?

“LYING IN AMERICA” – ‘Public Concern Over Honesty and Standards of Behavior has Reached the Highest Level Since Watergate’ reads the front page of U.S. News & World Report. ‘Government officials dissemble.  Scientists falsify research. Workers alter career credentials to get jobs.  What’s going on here? The answer, a growing number of social critics fear, is an alarming decline in basic honesty—A Nation Of Liars?” (The above headline text is in actual case type)

Zimbabwe’s financial affairs and present state of inflation are slanderously reported in the US-EU and African news media in order to divert attention from US-EU imperialism.

Former US presidential candidate & Congressman Ron Paul asked American citizens: “Where did the Bank Bailout Billions Go? After receiving billions in aid from U.S. taxpayers, the nation's largest banks say they either can't track exactly how they're spending the money or they simply refuse to discuss it.”

The NY Times “AP Study Finds $1.6B Went to Bailed-Out Bank Execs”, 12/21/08: Banks that are getting taxpayer bailouts awarded their top executives nearly $1.6 billion in salaries, bonuses, and other benefits in the calendar year 2007, an Associated Press analysis reveals. The rewards came even at banks where poor results last year foretold the economic crisis that sent them to Washington for a government rescue. Some trimmed their executive compensation due to lagging bank performance, but still forked over multimillion-dollar executive pay packages.

Benefits included cash bonuses, stock options, personal use of company jets and chauffeurs, home security, country club memberships and professional money management, the AP review of federal securities documents found.”

Condoleezza Rice, Jendayi Frazer, Desmond Tutu, John Sentamu, Kofi Annan, Odinga, and Botswana; why are you not exposing the corruption going on in America that makes Zimbabwe’s fiscal crisis look like child’s play?

PS: What happened to reparations that are due Africans worldwide for the enslavement of over 150 million captured and enslaved? Are we due a day in court for African colonialism, apartheid, or the American Peculiar Institution?

The heading is misguided and is being promoted to appeal to ignorance.

Living on the basis of future streams of income is intelligent and practical.
It is for a similar reason that insurance of all kinds exist: As long as we are going to be alive, it is reasonable to live according to reasonable expectations of the future.

If people borrow money to get an education, it would be similar to 'printing money' for an education that is expected to yield even more monies in the future. That is OK.

Living off the future becomes bad ONLY when a certain threshold is overstepped.
There is enough wealth and PRODUCTIVITY in America for them to bet successfully on the future, just like a university-bound student ALSO bet on the future when he goes into debt!

I wish Zimbabwe was a Moslem state. Then a Fatwa on Tutu would be in order-as he is calling for the spilling of innocent Zimbabwean blood in the name of getting rid of Mugabe thereby TUTU getting another Nobel War Explosives Prize Laurette. Shame on him. The Lord God on High should cut his tail.If a war that he once in Zimbabwe ever takes place, then the first casualty should be TUTU-where ever he maybe. I disagree with Butler that TUTU is holy far from it no holly person can advacate a war on innocent people. Where is TUTU's credentials he attained during the Truth and Reconciliation thing is SA. No wonder why nothing was achived by that commission because they chose the wrong person to chair.

As for ODINGA let's not worry about him much. Kenyans will soon see that he is an empty vessel as the average Kenyan's expectations are not being met right now as Raila is busy pleasing his Masters.
